Traditional freezer paper piecing. Tried to use as many fabrics as possible. Used fussy cutting to augment the design. A six year project.

We were moving into a new house with a big empty wall –"Scutterbotch" filled the space. Log cabin type units were randomly pieced. Patches in the sashing are raw edge appliqué.
